Unsurprisingly I'm still getting my kicks from a similar colour palette to last month, oranges, deep indigos, whilst throwing in some tan and mustard because why not? The past few weeks have been spent trawling through old books, magazines and Pinterest (naturally) for some new inspiration. I'm still in the midst of re-curating the upstairs shop floor and each day I feel like i'm a step closer to the whole concept coming together. This may sound a little mysterious right now, but soon enough all will be revealed, with the nature of what we plan to sell up there it takes a good amount more of time to piece together...these objects can't be found in a catalogue overnight shall we say (hint).

I've been walking our dogs in the fields besides our house in Cononley (North Yorkshire) whilst the sheep have been moved to the fields on the opposite side of the river (which means Ralph can't chase them, Lily doesn't have the stamina anyway) and suddenly the seasons have changed, the grass is thick and tall with clusters of yellow buttercups all around. This has inspired me a lot, especially since we've been graced with so much sunshine this week. Looking at colours side by side in their most natural state, untouched, is pretty special.

I'll leave it there for today, the sunshine is calling my name.
